Welcome back to Tutorial Tuesdays! We hope last week’s lesson helped you master the ins and outs of navigating the new member experience. Today we’re going to be teaching you how you can qualify for awesome product samplings and rock your Crowdtap sampling missions.
Sample and Party missions are great opportunities to take pictures of you and your friends exploring a product and really let the brand know what you think. In both, brands send a selected group of Tappers some free products to test! Brands are looking to Tappers to act as ambassadors in order to share their products with their friends and spread the word (and of course, provide honest feedback). And if we think you may be a possible fit for a new Sample mission, we’ll send you an email invite to get started! If you’re an active Tapper and are eligible for a Sample or Party Mission, you’ll receive an email invitation to apply. After you do so, you’ll see a screen notifying you that your entry is pending review.
Tappers are selected based on a variety of factors, including number of flags and the criteria that brands have set for that sampling. We also look at answers from your application and your profile, so make sure you’ve got that 100% filled out! For example, NUTRO™ ROTATIONS™ isn’t tummy-friendly for dogs under a certain weight limit, so we’ll be looking for specific dog owners. Plus, some items may be limited to certain geographic locations based on availability. It varies from mission to mission, so keep an eye out for one that’s perfect for you!
If you’re approved (HOORAY), come back to the mission to RSVP. This is the very last step of your Application phase. Make sure to read our Terms before agreeing in order to participate in your newest mission!
Then, you’ll see a phase called “Get Your Supplies.” We recommend that Tappers confirm their shipping addresses for us here right after they RSVP. We don’t want that sample pack of NUTRO™ ROTATIONS™ or Cottonelle® Flushable Cleansing Cloths going to wrong house, right? So do us all a favor and just double check that this info is all in order so we can get your package shipped to you as soon as possible.
Done? Great- sit back, relax, and wait for an email telling you that your Crowdkit has shipped! It may take us about a week to pack and ship your sample, so we really do appreciate your patience! Once we’ve got those tracking numbers, we send out 2 emails:
- A general email notifying you that your package is on its way
- A custom Welcome Email with your tracking number and important information about your mission, like your report due date and photo ideas
Once you’ve got your Crowdkit in your hands, come back to your mission to check that baby in under the “Get Your Supplies” phase. Remember, it may take about 1 week for your package to get delivered after you get your emails. You can locate your mission in that crowd’s page or using the link from your Welcome Email.
Oh yeah, and we just want to make sure that you know what’s coming up in your mission. So go ahead and hit “continue” here. Once you’ve both checked in your package and confirmed that you’re ready to try your sample, the rest of your mission will open up!
If you ever get lost on what to do next for your Sample Mission, just click the blue “Continue” button on your mission page. This will automatically direct you to the next thing you have to do for your mission! Plus, clicking the title of your mission will bring you back to your mission page so you can see everything that you need to do to and other important information, like what you’ll receive and when the report is due. And clicking the crowd image will -you guessed it- take you back to your crowd page, so you can see all available actions that Clinique has to offer.
Now it’s time for the meaty part of your Sample mission! You may have different types of challenges to complete, from a comment to a photo upload, to a review and product rating. Regardless of what order you want to complete these in, just don’t forget to finish your REPORT for us!
Report? What report? Just scroll down a little further…
Yup, there it is. Your report will consist of a series of multiple choice questions, some open-ended ones, and an option to upload any additional photos from your mission. This helps us wrap up the Sample mission and provide feedback to our partners on how you felt about the product you just sampled!
Be sure to get that report completed for us, because if you don’t….. DUN DUN DUN…. you will be flagged once the mission is closed. And remember what we said above? Flags may impact your eligibility for upcoming Sample missions! Need to contact Support about your Mission?
