Dogs are life here at Crowdtap HQ. In fact, dogs rank right up there with food, if we’re really being honest.
And just to reiterate how much food means to us (not that we feel that we need to), our Creative team has been known to discuss lunch plans before 10am on the daily, and the discussion continues while we’re eating said lunch. It’s not just us humans though — one of Crowdtap’s most famous dogs (the not-so-mini Minnie) has been known to eat 8 cups of dog food per day. That’s why she’s #oneofus <3
Now, we’ve never really put it to the test before, but we had a sneaking suspicion that our Tappers love food too. However, what we hadn’t really considered was how much their dogs love food. To our surprise and delight, our latest dog-centric photo mission brought quite a few food-obsessed pooches out of the woodwork. Here’s a round-up of our faves.
Meet Bear (3 years old). Samantha H. tells us that Bear “loves food, and toys that are food!” That donut could not look more delicious. We’re wondering… Does it squeak too?
Kristina C. showed us her dog, Neville. He’s 9 years old, “and still scared of the sound his water bowl makes.” We have so many questions for Neville. Is it an automatic water fountain? Or maybe one of those fancy upside-down 2-liter feeders that we can never quite figure out. Or maybe he doesn’t like the sound of it scooting when he laps it up? Kristina C., let us know!
“Mona will be 6 in December,” says her owner, Danai R. It takes a true foodie to go on a hunger strike when dinner doesn’t appeal to her, but according to Danai, Mona “will go days without eating in a battle for human food.” That’s commitment.
While Mona’s on strike, Elsie, an almost 2-year-old Boxer mix, “loves to beg for treats!” Her owner, Paula F. must have a few of her own tricks up her sleeve. Or maybe just treats.
And then there’s sweet little Toby, at 10 yrs old. Says Keisha M. of Toby’s dietary preferences: “He enjoys cheese.” Saaaaame here, Toby.
Sally, aged 8, likes to chew on wood. While that’s not exactly a filling (or even fulfilling) meal, we can assume there’s fiber or something in it. Right? Maybe? Guys? We’ll have to check in with Desiree P. on how Sally’s liking her wood-grain diet.
That’s it for this week’s Thumbs Up Thursday. As you can see, we have a tough time choosing just five. Stay *tuned in* for next week, when we choose the top submissions for Best Concert Photo.
