Can you recall the last great show you went to? You know, the kind of show that got you thinking “No, THIS was the best night of my life”? There’s something so irresistible about being in a room or an arena with hundreds (or even thousands!) of people who are all there for the very same reason: to see an artist or a band that they love. In most cases, the vibes of a room like that are totally infectious, and totally unforgettable.
That’s why for this week’s Thumbs Up Thursday, we asked you to show us the coolest concert photos you’ve taken in the recent past. We got to scroll through colorful outdoor festivals, intimate, dimly lit stages, and some fun rowdiness, too! Below are five of our favorite shots. Make sure to put on some of your favorite songs as you scroll through these awesome captures!
This photo of the band Ratatat from Alex W. caught our eye immediately. How could it not, with its psychedelic rays of light and the added surreal beauty of the waving hands? It’s the ideal concert snap.
We were delighted to receive this paparazzi-worthy shot of Idina Menzel performing at the Brooklyn Bowl from Rebecca P. It’s tough to shoot zoomed in photos on a phone, but Rebecca pulled it off pretty flawlessly here – we even love that she managed to get another photo being taken, in her photo!
Melanie H. delighted us with another Instagram-worthy crowd shot of Mac Miller performing in Lancaster. Not only do we love the movement that courses through this photo, but the warm golden light as well!
Hope you enjoyed those concert photos, Tappers! Did they have you reminiscing about any great shows from your past? Let us know! Don’t forget to head on over to Crowdtap to check out next week’s Thumbs Up Thursday challenge. We have a feeling this one might be all too easy…
