TMF: Soaking Up Rays, Right Through the Screen

While we’re busy compensating for our lack of inter-office sunlight access by doubling down on the iced coffee and plantain chips, our influencers are out there getting their Vitamin D doses in some seriously jealousy-inducing ways. Whether you’re also seeking some visual stimulation to help you break out of your workday doldrums or are one of those individuals whose days happen to be packed with outdoor adventures that could use just a smidge of new inspiration, join us as we dive into the lush beach and pool-scapes of these creative creatures.

Tilden B. is winning the summer seersucker game with this modern take on a traditional fabric. Where do we get one?

Zolee G. chilled next to some lush foliage that made us conclusively decide that we are on the wrong coast, even if we do get way better bagels over here.

Reality check: traveling is not always glamorous. I’m living out of a suitcase, and I no longer have all of the pretty summer dresses, designer shoes and big floppy hats that I once spent all my hard-earned money on. I gave that all up to have the freedom to live out of this little suitcase for almost three years. I sold almost everything in my closet to buy flight tickets and bananas in foreign places. The truth is, those big floppy hats are impossible to travel with. Pretty flowy dresses get ruined in the jungle, and I realized I’m happier barefoot than in any kind of designer heels. My hair isn’t done up and there’s no makeup because the ocean washes it all away. I changed my life by simplifying it. And the more I move, the less I end up wanting to carry around with me. So who are you underneath all of those clothes, all of that product? Show me your soul, don’t show me all of the shit you own. There is much more to the world than silver and gold. ☀️ #projectinspo

…but then this stunning shot of the ocean from Jinna Y. brought our geographic allegiances right back East.

Finally, here’s Sophie L.’s snap of her candy-colored pool accessories. This lady seriously seems to shop in some kind of alternate unicorn heaven dimension and WE.LOVE.IT.SO.MUCH.

Now it’s your turn to dish about your Insta-worthy summer plans and shopping finds. Make us jealous. We dare you!

I’m looking forward to homemade ice cream and snow cones. We have the machines to do the work.

I love what to be brave enough to sell all my belongings and travel living out of a suitcase. See the world while I am young enough.

My travel plans include trying to be outside as much as possible when I’m not working. I’m going to FLORIDA for a week to spend some much needed time with my family and then I plan on lounging on the lake on the weekends, weather permitting.

My attitude needs sunshine to mellow me out. I am up early to work in my garden until the heat takes over.

It has been years since I have been to the boardwalk. It used to be that I would take the kids. Now the kids are all grown and I asked them to take me lol
